Thornton Children’s Centre

Sefton Children’s Centres provide a range of activities for families with children under five years of age. Services offered include child & family health care, such as antenatal and postnatal care, in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Most centres run babies health clubs, activities such as baby massage or yoga and also offer access to specialist services such as speech and language therapy, or help for children with additional needs. There are various play opportunities for families to enjoy together, for example, arts & crafts, song and rhymetime, toy library and outdoor fun.

Parents seeking work or training can access specialist advice and support. We’re also here to provide information, advice and support on family and parenting issues – anything from postnatal depression to sleep routines, toddler tantrums or domestic violence.

Activities change regularly so please give us a call on 0151 928 6539.
