Statement by Cllr Bob McGill, Chairman of Thornton Parish Council, on the Death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth ll.
“It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of the Queen. She was the link between the generations. Indeed, anyone below the age of 70 will not know Great Britain and the world without her there. As this Elizabethan era comes to an end, we honour the Queen’s memory by keeping alive her values of public service she embodied.”
